Powers Enterprises, provides fixed wireless Internet service (a device that is fixed to your residents translates a microwave signal, to Ethernet at a point in your residents.) which you can plug a computer, router, wireless router or switch (for multiple devices).
Our goal is to provide our customers with affordable, high-speed connections where cable or ADSL is not available. The system is usually faster and more reliable then satellite systems but can vary dependent on local factors. Most of our customers enjoy aproximatly 1.5 - 4 Mb/s download and 0.5 - 4 Mb/s upload.
We do insist that customers, using p2p networks for downloads use them responsibly and manage them so they do not impact other users (see Terms of Service)

Installation Rate:
$ 495.00 (GST included) unchanged. The installation includes, wiring, mounting, equipment with 3 year warranty and the first full month of service. Pre-payments on services will be aplied to time used so extended suspended usage ie. (seasonal or extended vacation) will be added to end of term with notification to Powers Enterprises.
Effective February 01, 2011 and new installations:
Powers Enterprises (data) will be offering variable Internet Rates, both monthly and yearly, based on monthly combined
usage – upload and download.
Monthly Internet Rates:
6 GB Monthly Internet Usage $ 44.50 (GST Included)
10GB Monthly Internet Usage $ 56.00 (GST included)
15GB Monthly Internet Usage $ 67.50 (GST included)
20GB Monthly Internet Usage $ 80.00 (GST included)
Customers with additional radios: Monthly rate unchanged, overage charges apply
Overage charges:
Any usage amount exceeding purchased Monthly Internet Rate will be charged including those on a yearly prepaid package: Per 5GB or any portion thereof over -$ 25.00 (GST included)
Administration Fee: $ 2.50 plus GST for mailed invoices, statements and disconnection notices.
Monthly Internet charges can be paid on-line with: SCOTIABANK, RBC, CIBC, BMO, TD Canada Trust, ATB, some CREDIT UNIONS with B. C. Central Credit Unions (check with your local Credit Union), WESTERN BANK OF CANADA, CITIZENS BANK OF CANADA. Monthly fees can be paid in-store with Interac, credit card, cash or cheque and must be received by the 25th of each month.
Pre-authorized debit payment option available effective January 2011, customers will need to send in a voided cheque to be set up with this payment option.
Invoices are issued at the beginning of service month, payable by the 25th of the service month; accounts invoiced asecond service month without payment of previous service month will be sent a disconnection notice. Please call our office to discuss the most convenient payment options.
Re-connection fee remains at $25.00 + GST, payable prior to re-activation of service.
